“Reports that the housing market is dead are greatly exaggerated,” reports Linda O’Koniewski, CEO of Leading Edge, with a little nod to Mark Twain.
While housing prices are falling in some parts of the country, prices have remained strong and are higher than they were at this time last year. Our local housing market is starving for inventory.
It’s true that we saw a huge decline in sales in the last quarter of 2022 and in January 2023. Fewer sales were a symptom of homeowners who want to move, but feel paralyzed with uncertainty, overwhelmed with what do do with all their stuff, or concerned that they won’t be able to find a property that meets their needs.
Leading Edge agents have the resources, know-how, and skills to help anyone who wants to make a move. They remain undaunted and have helped so many buyers and sellers get to where they want to go.
There are an abundance of buyers on the hunt for property right now. Today’s buyers want the stability of owning a home and rents have skyrocketed.
